More About the Role:

CACI has an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our team as a System Engineer in the Annapolis Junction area. Your excellent communication skills will be necessary to craft your customer’s messages and coordinate across the enterprise. This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth! This position is ultimately responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the System Engineer area of responsibility.

What You'll Do:

The role involves working with Data Models (analysis and design, XML Schema design), SOAs, JAVA objects and web services, and developing taxonomies. The ultimate role is to meaningfully characterize, label, enrich, and otherwise maximize the value of the data to analysts and analytics.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Current TS/SCI with active polygraph

  • Twenty years experience as a System Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.

  • Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five years of additional System Engineer experience may be substitute ed for a bachelor’s degree.

In addition, the following skills are a plus:

  • Familiarity with Ruby; Java; Hadoop; Splunk; Python; Bash; Linux/UNIX; PIG; SQL; Java RegEx; NiFi Graph NiFi versions 3, 4 and 10; VM's running under CentOS7;

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required; Proficiency in MS Project and Access is a plus.

  • Detail oriented and analytical.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
