Training Tools Developer - HTASC


We are actively searching for qualified candidates for this opportunity. We are currently identifying candidates for this effort. This requisition is contingent upon award of contract to Jacobs.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Training Tools Developer in Sierra Vista, Arizona. The successful candidate will provide training instruction for the HUMINT Training Joint Center of Excellence at Fort Huachuca.


Provide digital training tools development support to build training aids and enhance existing training aids, course materials, and management tools.



  • TOP SECRET security clearance with eligibility for SCI access (SECRET to start; TS granted within one year)

  • Experience using, and troubleshooting programs, scripts, and applications in order to maintain courseware, maintain training aids, validate courseware and integrate courseware into Learning Management System(s) and other courseware development applications

  • Familiarity with Human Intelligence and/or Human Intelligence Training methods.

  • Experience with developing graphics for instructional and web-based applications; and developing models for use in training media

  • Ability to resolve a wide range of highly complex technical issues, and clearly communicate complex technical issues using a variety of media

  • Experience in multiple programming languages including C#, .NET, Java, and SQL Query in order to develop courseware, validate courseware or related algorithms and integrate courseware and tools into Learning Management System(s), SharePoint, and other courseware development applications

Physical Requirements

Sitting at desk. Phone use and PC or laptop. Filing required. May require lifting and carrying boxes of supplies or files up to 25 lbs. Extended periods of sitting while on PC/laptop or phone.

Equipment and Machines

General office equipment, which includes: telephone, fax machine, copier, PC/laptop, and other miscellaneous office equipment.


Work assignments dependent on requirements by the client. Training and training support may be required on nights, holidays, and weekends as dictated by the published training schedule.

Must be well organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Grooming and dress usually business casual, but dependent on client’s standards. Must not pose a safety hazard to employees working in the same general area.
