Cadence Design Systems, Inc. Lead Applications Engineer f/m/d in Feldkirchen, Germany

In this position you will be an expert in package design and analysis EDA tools. Your responsibilities are to drive technical campaigns, software evaluations and service-based engagements. You will explore and propose best practice package design methodologies to key customers and analyse package designs with Cadence Sigrity signal and power integrity EDA tools. You will also train and ramp-up key customers in IC package designs.

You will be working with customers on very advanced IC Packages, both in terms of physically co-designing chips and packages, as well as optimizing electrical performance.

You will have the chance to work as part of an international team (Germany, US, India, Israel etc.) on technologically challenging projects.

Position Requirements:

· Good English skills are a must. You will have to work with multinational engineering teams

· Education: MSc/MEng degree, preferred in micro-electronics engineering

· Min of 3-5 years of experience in IC package or pcb design using Cadence Allegro, APD or SiP Layout tool

· Experience in signal and power integrity on package pcb level

· Most important is a drive to continuously learn about signal integrity and IC package design
