Position Overview:

The Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisor will lead and manage cases from a clinical standpoint. Qualify, lead, and supervise all field staff generally and towards specific outcomes on cases under supervision. Ensure compliance with all clinical and documentation standards, policies, and procedures. Create documentation, processes, and procedures to improve operations and maintain compliance.

Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisor Essential Functions:

The ideal candidate must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

  • Open, recertify, and manage cases.

  • Address any clinical concerns immediately.

  • Review skills and ensure clinical competency of all staff at point of hire and make sure staff is prepared and appropriate for each client.

  • Supervisory visits to ensure staff's clinical competency with a client.

  • Ensure charts in the office and in the home are current, identical, and up to clinical standards.

  • Document and report on patient progress, challenges, complaints, incidents, and status changes.

  • Make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues.

  • Manage inventory for supplies and medications on cases.

  • Knowledge of computer data entry systems, protocols, and procedures.


  • Valid Registered Nurse License in good standing.

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse.

  • Previous experience with traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury (SCI), tracheostomy, mechanical ventilation, pediatrics.

  • Prior supervisory experience (clinical oversight, competency evaluations, management).

  • Strong assessment and organizational skills.

Working Conditions:

Centria’s office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30am-6:00pm. Additional time may be required to complete above work or meet company objectives.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, physical requirements such as bending, reaching and lifting of up to 50 pounds may be required. This role will require sitting a majority of the day as well as walking as standing when needed. This role will require close visual activity on multiple computer screens or monitors and the ability to analyze data and figures on a screen.
