Weapons of Mass Destruction – Counterterrorism (WMD – CT) Program and Database Officer

Produce the daily WMD-CT intelligence and operational summaries and the quarterly WMD-CT “around the community” publication in support of WMD-CT program and database (DB) supported by:

  • Acquiring summarizing and disseminating current intelligence reporting and IC assessments from all relevant sources relating to WMD and terrorism, to include summation of threat streams as they evolve

  • Identifying, constructing and maintaining a library of intelligence assessments, technical studies, collection requirements, and other data related to WMD terrorism assessable/retrievable by IC partners, in partnership with WMD-CT staff

  • Maintaining an Office web presence; uploading and editing documents to websites; and monitoring web traffic

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of prior working experience in the IC as an analyst, collection manager, data manager, knowledge management officer or intelligence technician

  • Demonstrated experience using intelligence message systems; developing and running message queries and integrating message reporting

  • Demonstrated effective and efficient organizational, writing, and verbal communication skills and the ability to propose and implement initiatives to address current information gaps.

  • Prior experience in DB development, knowledge management tools and web platforms (including SharePoint)

  • Demonstrated understanding of the IC and various portals of current intelligence and finished intelligence assessments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working CT and or SMD account
