West Virginia Employer Software Engineer in Fairmont, West Virginia

Software Engineer to work in Fairmont, WV office. The Software Engineer will design, develop, modify and maintain software applications for internal and external customers. Responsibilities: i Perform system requirements gathering for specified software applications i Create technical specifications and test plans i Design, develop, modify and maintain relational databases i Design and develop software applications for internal/external customers i Modify and maintain all existing software applications i Provide technical support as needed i Minimal travel may be necessary i Other duties as assigned Desired Skills .and.amp; Experience: i Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to other technical and non- technical staff members and clients i Ability to perform system requirements gathering for software applications i Ability to design, develop, modify and maintain software applications i Ability to design, develop, modify and maintain relational databases i Proficiency in a programming language (C# or Java) and restful APIs i Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, AngularJS, Node.js, Bootstrap and HTML 5.0 i Experience working with Model View Controller (MVC) Minimum Education and Training Requirements: i Minimum of two (2) years software programming experience, utilizing C#, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js restful APIs, Angular, Bootstrap i Database design experience in SQL Server or Oracle is preferred.Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies i Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
