Sunrise mental health services provides behavior support, counseling, educational consultation, skills/support groups, and training services for individuals with social, emotional/behavioral, and/or developmental needs and their family members and other team members. We are currently seeking a MHP/mental health counselor (LMHC or LMHCA) with extensive experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities to serve clients in Snohomish County for community-based and/or clinic-based counseling services. This hourly position is an excellent opportunity for therapists who want to focus on direct work with clients. Duties and Responsibilities: • Intake, assess and evaluate client needs and develop a written assessment and treatment plan • Develop client treatment plans that include specific measurable goals and therapeutic teaching strategies • Community outreach • Crisis management and stabilization • Train, coach or consult with caregivers and other providers to support therapy goals • Intensive outpatient services • Complete progress reports that summarize client progress and services as required by agency contracts. • Maintain client records such as case notes, client logs, and other documentation in accordance with agency, state, and federal standards Qualifications and Education Requirements: • Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work or other related field • Experience providing counseling services to individuals with developmental disabilities • Personal car with $50,000 liability insurance coverage • Valid WA State Driver's license • Cleared criminal background check Compensation: • $19.23-$25 per hour (unlicensed) & $25 - $26/hour (licensed) dependent on experience and credentials + up to $500 monthly performance incentives. • Medical, dental, paid vacation, sick time and holidays • 401 (k) (currently matching 50%).
