What You Will Do: As Senior Aerospace Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the overall product development. You will work with our program manager and our electrical, mechanical, optical, reliability, manufacturing test and quality teams to make sure that our products meet our customer s expectations. * Develop system and sub-system architecture * Develop and maintain accurate feature/function requirements from both internal and external customers * Produce and maintain project data for planning, requirements, design, validation, verification and certification * Perform peer review of documents and maintain records of review/action items * Search for continuous improvements for system engineering * Develop and document architectural decisions and derived requirement analysis * Use DOORS to maintain configuration management of the requirements in a controlled environment What You Must Have: * Bachelor s Degree or Master s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or other engineering discipline * Minimum 7 years engineering experience * Engineering experience in aerospace preferably as systems engineer but experience in software, electrical, or mechanical engineer will be considered * Experience developing requirements documents, design descriptions, and system verification cases and procedures * Requirements management using DOORS * Working knowledge of RTCA DO-254, RTCA DO-178, and RTCA DO-160 * Knowledge of ARP 4754A Guidelines for Development of civil aircraft and systems * Familiarity with digital data bus specifications such as ARINC 664 and ARINC 825 Where We Work: Our 216,000 square foot facility is located in Everett, Washington.
