A busy Eugene area company is expanding their staff and is seeking an enthusiastic temporary to full-time Customer Service Representative. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a reputable company. The ideal Customer Service Representative will be energetic, positive and possess a strong work ethic. The successful Customer Service Representative will be responsible for taking inbound calls, processing orders and answering questions by phone and email and chat. The Customer Service Representative will also enter data entry into the company database and work extensively with Word, Excel, and Outlook. A minimum of 1-2+ years consistent Customer Service Representative experience in a call center environment taking inbound phone calls, chat and email requests is required. Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Earlier work involving Microsoft Word

  • Demonstrated knowledge of faxing

  • Foundational knowledge in import customer service

  • Internet experience highly preferred

  • Practical knowledge of order entry

  • Background working with email

  • Adeptness in filing

  • Records maintenance experience

  • Proficiency in pricing

  • Microsoft Excel experience

  • MS Outlook experience

  • General familiarity with customer service

  • Good understanding of sales

  • Ability to exude confidence, knowledge, and empathy when interacting with internal and external partners and clients/customers

  • 2+ years' experience of demonstrated performance in a goal-driven customer-focused environment preferred

  • Proven experience going the extra mile to solve complex customer inquiries via extensive research

  • Proven computer skills

  • Proven knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly

  • Customer service and office administrative skills
