As a member of the International
Business Development team you will be instrumental in enablement and execution
of sales-focused and technical programs for the autonomous database, 19c
database and database options. Working with Oracle Corporate teams and regional
stakeholders to accelerate internal awareness, help shape future product direction
and increase database bookings across all LOB’s.

Be a credible evangelist across all stakeholder communities for theOracle Database
Define strategies and initiatives to support the adoption ofAutonomous Database cloud, 19c and other Oracle Database technologies tonew and existing customer clients and partners
Pipeline development through a combination ofgo-to-market initiatives, campaigns, and events/workshops facilitation.Elaborate campaigns and initiatives to drive the Oracle Database businessand foster cross-LOB collaboration.
Lead your area as if it were your own company; understand salespipeline, forecasting, have deep account awareness; identify and developtop customer and partner references and stories; deliver business reviewsand growth strategies; seek to connect different Oracle groups together todrive highest levels of customer success
Maintain relationships with Product Management and ensure thatfeedback to/from the EMEA organisation is prioritised appropriately
Lead enablement and develop relevant material, with freshapproaches alongside traditional such as workshops, demonstrations andtraining
Rapidly learn and demonstrate expertise in new technologies
Develop and support strategies for the roll out of new technologiesto the field
Lead EMEA wide technology specific communities and innovationprogrammes
Interface with other relevant parts of the organisation such asConsulting, Support, Legal, Finance, Operations
Act as a “trusted advisor” to customers (e.g. conduct a workshop)
Credibly present to audiences of likeminded professionals
Develop and deliver outstanding Oraclepresentations and demonstrations.
The experience you bring:
BS or MS degree, or similar
English proficiency at businesslevel. Additional European languages are an advantage
A minimum 8 to 10 years’ ofsoftware engineering or related experience; experience in a customerfacing environment within Sales, Business Development
understanding of Cloud industry and specifically the Cloud Platform market
with ability to work to individual initiatives as well as within team
Ability to build reciprocal relationships with differentparts of the business, partners and customers and identifies synergiesacross LOBs and acts on opportunities to integrate business, withcredibility at all levels, including Lines of Business.
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability tocommunicate across all levels and effectively adapt to varied situations
Be creative with strong problem-solving skills and theability to adapt and succeed in a fast paced and ambiguous environment.
Proven ability to work well as part of an internationalbusiness development team.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Responsible for the identification of relevant new business opportunities and designs "go-to-market" plan to deliver measurable and significant revenues. Pursues sales opportunities in the market, and carries the baton in the beginning of the sales cycle.
A Business Development Representative is assigned to strategic accounts which may be grouped by industry where Oracle has a limited presence. Acts as primary liaison between Consulting, Sales, and Oracle Development for the product
- s sales opportunities. Generates business opportunities through prospecting mass market programs and leveraging third party partners. Develops and coordinates a worldwide relationship with customers that establishes Oracle as a preferred vendor and optimizes Oracle's sales of product. Executes aggressive strategies and plans to successfully drive the product as the preferred customer selection. Provides account representatives with information on how the product addresses specific needs, and assists account representatives in using Oracle's products to leverage large revenue opportunities. Assists in articulating product message, coordinates technical resources and hands off deals to a successful close.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years of progressively increased responsibilities in sales or sales management. Marketing and business development experience preferred. Business and account planning implementation experience. Conversant in Oracle technology and product strategies. Proven track record in managing multiple opportunities and ability to negotiate and close complex deals. Ability to determine strategy and tactical plans that deliver tangible results. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel. BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
