Job Description Summary

The person in this role will be responsible for the sales of BD Diagnostic products by direct sales activities, the aim being to grow and develop the sales revenue in the territory. The focus for this person will be in selling diagnostic products ( main part is Bloodculture systems , ID/AST systems ,Prepared plated media and molecular diagnostic solutions ) and Lab automation products ( BD Kiestra ). In the medical microbiology labs , university’s and molecular diagnostic laboratory’s . A combination of Capital equipment and consumable sales.

We are are looking for an Account Manager BD Diagnostic Systems for Flanders - Belgium! As Account Manager BD DS, you are the key responsible for the sales and growth of the BD Diagnostic portfolio, which includes products such as Blood culture systems, molecular systems, and lab automation products.

Your responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for the sales and growth of the BD Diagnostics portfolio

  • You hunt; you show good insights into the different decision-makers and influencers in the market and you are not afraid to inquire them.

  • You build relationships of trust and can invest in a long-term relationship with your audience through good business acumen capabilities.

  • You build up strong relations with existing customers and develop relations with new customers

  • You are able to apply a project-based approach in your daily activities.

  • You work closely with the Benelux organization as well as with the European organization.

  • You are responsible for sales budget in your territory

The r equirement s:

  • You have minimum a Bachelor degree ( in Microbiology, molecular biology, or similar)

  • You have experiences with Capital investment products and Lab automation solutions

  • You have a great network and experience in the medical molecular diagnostics market

  • You are great in project management: mapping the potential and the decision of the business process and work through all steps of the solution selling approach.

  • You show amazing communication and interpersonal skills & you are able to build long-term partnerships

  • You are creative and not afraid to think out-of-the-box

  • You negotiation skills are amazing

  • You can work independently as well as in a team

  • You speak Dutch, English, and French

  • IT proficiency is a plus
