Merlin's Englewood, CO office seeks a dynamic individual for the role of Inside Sales Representative (ISR).
POSITION SUMMARY: Inside Sales Representative directly supporting one to two Account Executives.
Work closely with assigned Account Executives (AEs) and Product Specialists, where applicable to understand deal flow and timing
Prepare quotes for supported AEs in an accurate and timely manner
Communicate with customers and AEs in a timely manner to ensure all involved are aware of timing and effort being devoted.
Keep Salesforce.com updated and current on all activities. Working with assigned AE, establish and agree on follow up call activity requirements with customers.
Have extensive, top of mind knowledge of assigned AE's sales pipeline and manage internal and external constituents on deliverables, status and action items.
Once transactions close, issue purchase orders to the specifications of the vendor, ensure acceptance of the order and work with accounting to facilitate invoicing. This will include obtaining proof of delivery and scanning necessary documentation into Great Plains and updating Salesforce.com with invoice information.
Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent
Experience working in Salesforce.com and Great Plains extremely valuable
Accounting experience in order management, quoting, receiving and/or accounts payable a plus
Attention to detail and accuracy along with strong math skills required
Previous sales experience in inside sales or a sales support role required
Prior experience working in a team environment
Prior experience with government contracting highly desired
Knowledge of IT solutions (hardware, software, networking, etc) required
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to keep calm in a high-pressure, deadline oriented environment
Working knowledge and experience in Excel, Word, and Outlook very important.
