Oracle Marketing Operations Data Engineer / Business Development Consultant 3-Corp Plan in El Segundo, California

Engages in business development strategies and programs in support of Oracle's Sales Organization.

Participates in the development of strategic market/product line business plans and marketing programs to support sales in designated market segments. Engages in many areas of business development to include strategy, programs, demand generation, building pipeline, increasing deal size, and account planning. Participates in analyzing market data to identify trends/opportunities and develops strategic direction from market information. Participates in identification of volume and strategic customers. Primary interaction is with Oracle sales force; however, may interact with external customers as it relates to the development and facilitation of ongoing business and/or business relationship. Supports the business by interfacing with the sales organization and other internal groups (such as Product Development, Operations, GBUs, Marketing, etc.)

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5-8 years of Marketing/Business Development experience in the technology industry, preferably software industry. Experience should include relationship management. Conversant in Oracle technology and product strategies. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. BA/BS degree or equivalent.

About the Role

Job Description:Analytical insights help uncover solutions to our business challenges and drive pipeline and sales. In this role, you will apply your superior analytical and data engineering skills to build out data processes, data infrastructure support data reporting for demand marketing go-to-market strategies across North America Applications Sales.

The Marketing Operations Data Engineer will function as a key member of the Business Development and Strategy team supporting the NA Application Sales business. As a Marketing Operations Data Engineer, you will assist the Sales Strategy team with Marketing Lead, Marketing Activity and customer pipeline analysis, lead gen follow-up, pipeline growth initiatives, and other data-driven initiatives.

This role requires strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills and disciplined follow through, and the ability to work both independently and in teams to meet time sensitive deadlines. By aligning directly alongside all departments involved in the sales cycle, this role will generate insights to improve and optimize Marketing and Sales activities that will drive higher revenue.

**You will create functional dashboards to help marketers understand and optimize their digital campaigns, lead generation and pipeline generation efforts. You will be partnering with different teams at Oracle to recommend modification of reports and dashboards to fulfill the needs of North America Sales and provide reliable, intuitive insight for Marketing into actionable data.

Responsibilities

-[if !supportLists]-> -[endif]->Provide ongoing analysis of lead conversion metrics from marketing leads through to deal closure

-[if !supportLists]-> -[endif]->Collaborate within sales team and take ownership of items including ad hoc projects, quarterly objectives, operational integration testing and roll out, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

-[if !supportLists]-> -[endif]->Rigorous analytical and quantitative skills, with an aptitude for creatively solving highly unstructured business problems

-[if !supportLists]-> -[endif]->Mastery of a variety of business frameworks in Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.

-[if !supportLists]-> -[endif]->Superior knowledge of analytical tools including Excel, Apex, Business Intelligence, etc.

-[if !supportLists]-> -[endif]->Keen understanding of standard sales and marketing measurement models and metrics with the ability to compile, calculate, and interpret reporting data

-[if !supportLists]-> -[endif]->4 years in a data analyst role, preferably in Marketing or Sales Operations

-[if !supportLists]-> -[endif]->3 years working in consulting/advising role with proven proficiency in:

-[if !supportLists]-> -[endif]->Distilling lots of data down to key takeaways and recommendations
