What You’ll Get to Do:

Want to make it impact and work with a purpose? As the Regional Office Manager (ROM) you will directly help the Warrior Care Program (WCP) Regional Headquarters.

The Department of Defense (DoD), US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), has a continuing requirement for the Warrior Care Global Support (WCGS) services. The WCPs primary goal is to provide non‐medical advocacy and assistance to Special Operations Forces (SOF) Wounded, Ill, and Injured (WII) Recovery Service Members (RSMs) and their families in their recovery, rehabilitation, and reintegration, or transition to civilian life.

In this role you will serve as the key personnel responsible for the quality of service being provided and documented by the WCGS‐Service team.

More About the Role:

As the ROM you will get to:

  • Attend weekly meetings and prepare discussion minutes/AAR comments for database records management;

  • Serve as the records manager custodian;

  • Be responsible for workflow management, process publications and policies;

  • Be responsible for regional Defense Travel System (DTS);

  • Maintain data integrity of individual and shared calendars;

  • Collate input from different sources to generate staff products;

  • Coordinate and package requests for Visual Information department for production;

  • Support WCP compliance with USSOCOM’s internal staff management processes by monitoring the Task Management Tool (TMT), and by collecting and coordinating input from leadership to develop response to taskers; route products and related correspondence via USSOCOM’s Enterprise Workflow Management System;

  • Coordinate with Protocol and assist with Distinguished Visitor support and events; manage recognition/special ceremonies, schedules event locations;

  • Oversee planning, development, and protocol in handling all aspects of visits, conferences, tours, and social functions initiated within the region when applicable;

  • Serve as the point of contact for office supplies and equipment facilitation; and

  • Coordinate with WCP HQ to ensure Regional Staff members have the office equipment needed to successfully perform their duties.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum three (3) years of related work experience, but this specific position requires the following:

  • Three (3) years of experience in Microsoft applications (specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook calendar) and Adobe Acrobat;

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field or Associates Degree (in any field) with four (4) additional years of relevant experience. All degrees and certifications must come from institutions of higher education which have been accredited through agencies that are recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education.
