  • Reporting to the Agile Team Lead, Development, you?ll be working with web and mobile applications, with a strong focus on Serverless apps.

  • Provide technical leadership through coaching, mentorship, and code reviews to other members of the development team.

  • Follow a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery workflow to enable frequent, reliable production deployments.

  • Use test-driven development (TDD), with tools like Jest and Rspec, to ensure our products consistently meet or exceed expectations.

  • Participate in ideation sessions and conceptual collaborations with other development teams within AMA to discover, capture and assess project requirements.

  • Promote a positive Security culture, particularly in the development of software systems.

  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation backed by automated monitoring and an incident management platform.


  • You have a university degree or technical school diploma in a related technical field such as Computer Science. Have a degree in something else? Tell us about it and how you can use it in this role.

  • You have 5 or more years of progressive web development experience under your belt in everything from architecture to a firm understanding of design concepts and deployment of highly-available web and mobile applications.

  • You know your way around microservice and event-based architectures and can provide solutions based on them.

  • You know Ruby, Node.js, React, and React Native like the back of your hand. You also have a deep knowledge of the full web stack (HTTP, cookies, caching, browser rendering).

  • Bonus points if you have AWS Associate or Professional Certifications and experience with Cloudformation, Amplify, SAM, and CodePipeline. And if you don?t, well an interest to learn would be great too.

  • You?re a pro at developing data-backed applications using a combination of REST, GraphQL, NoSQL and RDBMS technologies.
