We have a rare opportunity based in East Harford, CT in our Systems Design & Component Integration (SDCI) Organization which is responsible for integrating the design of components, modules and systems into best-in-class commercial and military propulsion systems.

The SDCI organization is seeking several NGPF ( Next Generation Product Family ) Design Integration Leads.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Directing a multi-functional team of practitioners from across the company

  • Negotiating Component Interface Coordination Requirements (CICRs) for Development, Tooling and Production

  • Identifying and resolving issues with functional and mechanical interfaces

  • Ensuring a balanced system level solution for interface trades across modules

  • Integrating with Airframe Integration (AFI), a multi-disciplined PW/supplier/airframe team, to update and maintain the Interface Control Document (ICD) with the Airframer(s)

  • Supporting technical reviews for system level interface compliance to requirements

  • Communicating technical status and priority to the Engineering and Program management teams

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

  • 7+ years as a design or project engineer

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Engineering Change process

  • Competent in Teamcenter, SharePoint, and Configuration Management procedures for Production, Prototype, and Development, for both Engine and Propulsion Systems products

  • Established technical and communication skills

  • Dream to work in a multi-functional / team environment

Education: BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
