Contract Manager duties includes the support of proposal development, performing the review and negotiation of contract terms and conditions, and management of the resulting contracts for various development programs with the Government, Government prime contractors and other customers such as Universities and Small Businesses.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited, to:
You will be the primary focal point for external and internal customers regarding contract issues and interpretation of contract requirements; therefore strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
You will have the opportunity to exercise discretion and work independently.
You will be responsible for working with the Military Development team, Gatorworks, and Small Military Engines teams on various proposals and the management of resulting contracts from start to contract closeout.
You will interact with the Technical Engineering and Programs teams closely in the administration of contracts which develop new technology and applications.
Do you meet the Basic Qualifications?
Bachelors Degree required
Minimum 4-6 years business experience required
US Citizen required due to government program requirements
Bachelor's degree, Master's Degree or JD Preferred
USG Contract Management Experience FAR/DFAR Familiarity
This position is requiring a significant interpersonal interaction with various Program Managers and other members of the integrated program management team within the organization.
You will need to be an independent learner and possess strong team working skills.
