Responsible for processing international order, quotations, returns, commissions, credits, invoices, and other export shipping documentsPrincipal Duties and ResponsibilitiesUsing telephone, calculator, PC, written procedures and product knowledge for proper orders Making decisions regarding order priority, pricing, modes of transportation, product identification, product sourcing, etc. Answering pricing and product inquiries, order and item status received via email, telephone, FAX, and mail from customers, dealers, and subsidiaries Processing emergency ordersExpected Areas of CompetenceExcellent telephone skills and the ability to handle multiple daily telephone calls in a positive manner Ability to develop and maintain positive relationship with dealers, customers, subsidiaries, U.S. divisions, and outside service companies (banks, transportation companies, freight forwarders) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to write legibly with correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation Ability to analyze situations and resolve problems (i.e., consolidate shipments from various suppliers and ensure documentation for export is correct) Effective working in teams to achieve the departments objectives Knowledge of Zimmer major product groupings, including product lines at other divisions Keying speed of 7000 kdph with 95% accuracy; typing speed of 40 wpm with 95% accuracyEducation/Experience RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent with 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience.Travel RequirementsUp to 5%Additional InformationAt Zimmer Biomet, we believe in The Power of Us, which means that we are stronger together.
