Achieve strategic growth goals while meeting all compliance and risk management requirements. Works closely with the Municipal Banking Specialist. Cross sell and refer bank products.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS* Bachelor's degree required* 3 - 5 Years experience in function* 3 - 5 Years experience in industry* Comprehensive knowledge of Municipal Banking products and systems and the ability to analyze current and potential customer#8217; banking needs and to recommend appropriate municipal solutions.* Superior financial and business acumen with proven sales and relationship building skills; preferably with Commercial and Municipal client bases.* Excellent analytical and negotiating skills.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Strong time management and organizational practices* Knowledge of industry compliance and risk management standardsESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESBusiness Development* Maintain and grow existing Municipal Banking client relationships.* Develop new, long-term Municipal Banking deposit account relationships that will provide low cost funding source for the bank.* Cross-sell/refer beneficial Bank products and services to Municipal Banking clients, specifically Treasury Management services.* Proactively manage the business relationship, negotiates pricing and contracts.* Attends council or board meetings as necessary. Prepares and delivers responses to client issues and follows up directly with key decision-makers.* Develops and implements comprehensive account plans (sales, marketing and community and customer service programs/strategies) to achieve annual sales and profit objectives. Involves the Director of Municipal Banking in sales and government relation#8217;s activities as needed.* Meets regularly with key decision-makers within assigned municipalities, state and federal agencies to enhance the company#8217;s position and continuously bring value-added services to the franchise relationship.* Maintains an awareness of market dynamics and competitors#8217; activity in areas where the company conducts business.* Attends local industry trade shows and participates in local chambers or other community associations and trade groups. Develops/implements approved strategies and activities to increase account penetration and satisfaction to ensure profitable client retention.Operational / Administrative* Oversee and supervise Public Fund Client Support Specialist in daily administration of Public Funds area.* Complete all required sales reports and documentation.* Meets with operations management as appropriate to coordinate on problem resolution and customer service efforts for assigned accounts/territory.b
