TheAudit Specialist I ensures that all Workers Compensation and General Liability interim and final audit premiums are accurately calculated.

Responsibilities

The successful employee in this position will be responsible for:

  • Accurately calculating audit term premiums and inputting information into required systems.

  • Conduct comprehensive research, utilizing available resources for analysis

  • Utilizes thorough and applicable detail oriented audit practices

  • Process productive and non productive audits for voluntary and assigned risk markets

  • Communicate and obtain necessary documentation from clients/agents/underwriters to justify revisions and/or audit/policy discrepancies

  • Compile audit information and correction(s) to auditors worksheets

  • Compose and mail letters regarding billing to insured

Qualifications

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Strong mathematical competence and organizational detail required

  • 2 years experience with AIIC, Preferred

  • Bookkeeping / Accounting experience 2 years, Preferred

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to ramp up quickly with accuracy, understanding necessary computer programs and systems
