CACI International Sr. Contracts Specialist (Construction, A&E) in Denver, Colorado
What You’ll Get to Do:
You will support a Federal Government client providing full life-cycle contract management support (except those things inherently governmental).
More About the Role:
As Contract Specialist, you will:
Conduct acquisition planning and market research. Together with project team and Small Business Specialist, determine contract type, and area of solicitation. Consider all possible set-asides in conjunction with local socioeconomic and small business goals. Prepare other required pre-solicitation documentation. Prepare and post FedBizOpps advertisement;
Prepare and issue solicitations, Requests for Proposals/Quotes and amendments. Work with project team to address questions. Receive, record, and review proposals/quotes for responsiveness;
Coordinate technical evaluation panels. Participate in and assists the Contracting Officer in all source selection activities and best value tradeoff evaluations. Prepare for and participate in negotiations; perform cost and/or price analyses; documents source selection activities; and determine fair and reasonable pricing. Obtain certified and other than certified cost and pricing data as required;
Process contract awards for government Contracting Officer signature. Prepare and distribute award packages and announcements;
Perform contract administration. Maintain official contract file (all files are electronic). Resolve payment issues; review payroll reports against DOL wage determinations; issue general correspondence and memoranda; and addresses general contract administration questions;
Process modifications. Obtain and evaluate contractor proposals, participates and documents negotiations, prepare modifications with supporting documents for signature by the government Contracting Officer; and
Prepare closeout documents.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum seven (7) years of related work experience, but for this specific position the following is required:
Minimum Education: 24 Business credit hours, Bachelor’s Degree preferred; and
Minimum Experience: eight (8) years Federal Government Contracting experience with the performance requirements for this position.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Two (2) years construction contracting experience; and
Two (2) years architect-engineer services contracting experience.
