We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer looking for self-directed career path with progressive company with an open management style. Opportunity available in the Global Facilities global practice working for leading manufacturing clients. This position has tremendous growth opportunity with the potential to manage projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leadership within the group - both technical and professional

  • Structural analysis and design for a variety of complex structures

  • Developing and maintaining client-facing relationships and trust

  • Professional growth of other structural engineering and CADD staff

  • Quality Review of others’ work

  • Development and validation of construction cost estimates

  • Reviewing and responding to proposals

  • Promoting strong technical skills and knowledge

  • Other duties assigned


Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering, Master’s Degree preferred. PE registration required, SE registration preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the following:

  • Structural analysis and design of complex structures, both superstructure and substructure

  • Structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, cold-formed steel design

  • Proficient in structural engineering design software, codes, and standards

  • Consulting directly with clients

  • Leadership and development of others

  • Seismic engineering

  • Construction drawing and specification packages

  • Quality review of others’ designs

  • New construction and structural renovations

  • Design of industrial facilities

  • Development of engineering and construction proposals

  • Development of construction cost estimates

  • Review of compliance submittals

  • Preparation of subcontract construction packages

  • Four years’ experience must include leading structural engineering design team on large complex projects.
