CACI International RF Engineer in Denver, Colorado
What You’ll Get to Do: Under moderate supervision, work with a broad range of technologies to provide radio frequency (RF) circuit and system support and design for wireless communication products operating with high frequency (HF) to millimeter wave applications.
More About this Role: working as an RF Engineering Team member, you will research, design and develop RF and Microwave circuitry for use in information processing hardware as well as various electrical components, mechanisms, materials, circuitry, equipment and processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing complex RF Engineering activities supporting the design, development and optimization of wireless network systems.
Work as a member of a Team of Engineers that is responsible for the research, design, analysis, schematic capture, test of RF circuits, and create/review externally-produced printed circuit board layouts
Work as a member of a Team of Engineers that is responsible for integrating and interconnecting CACI and customer hardware units.
Collaborate with other RF and Digital Engineers to identify equipment, circuits, and fixtures needed to test or characterize RF systems and to support test automation
Debug RF boards and systems, and support system integration and test
Provide assembly instructions and review design assemblies
Travel to other CACI Locations or Customer Sites as necessary
Understand and adhere to all CACI Ethical and Compliance policies
Proactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to CACI EH&S policies and procedures
Perform other duties as required
Obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level to perform the job
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Education: PhD in Electrical Engineering
Experience: 0-2 years of industry related experience
Knowledge of RF systems with some programming skills
Good verbal and writing skills with attention to detail and ability to create technical documentation and plans
Experience with Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers and other advanced test equipment
Understanding of Communications Systems & Signal Processing desired
Experience with Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel to document, organize, chart data, analyze and present data for review
The ability to rapidly prototype systems is desired
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Basic understanding of cellular systems and commercial cellular technologies (GSM, CDMA, LTE, UMTS and 3G/4G)
Experience working in a Scaled Agile environment
Knowledge of interfacing digital and RF components
Knowledge of board development tools and change management systems.
There is no clearance requirement to begin employment. However, as a requirement of continued employment in this position you will be required to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
