Mid-size residential property management firm in Denver is looking for a Sr. Property Accountant to join their team! The Sr. Property Accountant position is offering free parking, casual work environment and a good work/life balance!

The Sr. Property Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Reconciling accruals

  • Reviewing budget variances to ensure the correct GL code or accrual

  • Reviewing and as needed, reconciling sub-ledger accounts

  • Reviewing monthly transactions and reclassifying as necessary

  • Reviewing, posting and reconciling gross potential rents

  • Preparing bad debt adjustments after move-outs

  • Reviewing capital vs. expense items in accordance with each property’s capitalization policy and prepare reports/schedules

  • Prepare monthly financial statements

  • Assist with preparation of balance sheet reconciliation workbooks and resolving any open items

  • Assist with bank reconciliations, including research of open items and updating cash worksheets

  • Assist with pulling information for the year-end audit

The Sr. Property Accountant position is requiring the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

  • 3+ years of full-cycle residential property accounting experience (ideally multi-family)

  • Yardi software experience is preferred
