Job Summary:

The Director of Sales Operations & Planning resource will be involved and utilized within all units of the Sales department including field sales, inside sales, account management, and Marketing. The position is designed to aid in the creation and refinements of key processes and plans for the department and be a resource for the Sales reps and Account managers. Key responsibilities are to support the division and any requirements from executive management, this position will handle a variety of tasks and will be very metrics focused and highly organized.

The SOP Director will be focused on supporting initiatives to drive sales growth, providing feedback on industry trends, identifying partnership opportunities that enable market/product expansion.

Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and track divisional goals, report on performance across all groups.

  • Define and refine KPI's as needed to ensure success and growth within the sales function.

  • Manage SFDC create reporting, data cleanliness, system changes, and SFDC training.

  • Liaison between the Division and the Service / Finance organizations (Order flow, Billing, Contract requirements, etc.) to ensure that the sales process is followed in a compliant manner and that it is aligned with entitlement, service and billing.

  • Represent the company in key partnership and business development opportunities when required.

  • Help develop, refine, and implement sales processes and procedures.

  • Manage key industry partnerships and vendors and provide product management and training for existing and new lines of business.

  • Develop and maintain pricing models in conjunction with finance and service, including RFP support for major Retail and FI proposals.

  • Manage "deal-flow" for contract RFP/RFQ responses (accurate, complete, timely).

  • Analyze data to assess trends, risks / opportunities that can be used to improve the overall sales strategy.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Management and knowledge of key systems including Sales Force, GP billing platform, ecosign and others.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products

  • High level oral and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical, data management and problem solving skills

  • High level presentation skills

  • Ability to communicate to and/or work with a wide ranging audience (Clients, executive management, functional contributors) including the adaptation of communication method and detail as needed.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • This is largely a sedentary role, requiring use of typical office equipment such as a computer, laptop and cell phone.

  • This position is remote with access to office space if applicable and requires travel.

Education and Experience:

  • Degree in business management, marketing or equivalent work experience

  • BA / MBA in business required.

  • At least 5+ years experience in similar role

  • At least 3+years experience in electro mechanical services, or related industry.
