Culinary Production Supervisor

Local infused product manufacturer has an immediate need for a production supervisor. Ideal candidates will have experience in confectionery production and/or culinary degree or coinciding experience. The production supervisor plays an integral role in the manufacturing process. This position is responsible for all kitchen production activities and directing the production team to effectively and efficiently achieve production goals. Production supervisor will oversee the manufacturing workflow to day-to-day activities are optimized while also minimizing the costs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee quality control of kitchen production processes

  2. Manage kitchen production personnel, including training, performance evaluation and salary

  3. Work with inventory management on planning and organizing of production schedule

  4. Research and development of new products

  5. Enforce safety policies to minimize the potential for staff injuries

  6. Provide coaching and direction to ensure success in meeting required outputs and schedules

  7. Tests and develops recipes and new product development while working with company consultants

  8. Effective communicate targets and priorities to production team

  9. Develop check point and procedures for ensuring production equipment is in good working order

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
