Job Summary

The Corporate Responsibility Manager is responsible for the development of CBRE’s corporate responsibility (CR) reporting. This position requires a thorough understanding of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) topics and reporting standards and frameworks. Working across various corporate functions, the Corporate Responsibility Manager will be responsible for the collection, monitoring and verification of relevant ESG data. The Corporate Responsibility Manager will also work on projects that support CBRE’s corporate responsibility strategies, goals and targets.

This position reports to the Vice President, Corporate Responsibility.

Dutiesand Responsibilities

  • Lead thedevelopment of the annual CR Report and responses to the SAM CorporateSustainability Assessment, CDP climate change disclosure and other ESG-relatedsurveys, award applications and questionnaires

  • Respond torequests for information regarding the company’s ESG performance from ratingsand reporting agencies, current or prospective clients, investors andother stakeholders

  • Lead ESGdata collection. Facilitate development of corporate carbon footprint. Managedata verification / external assurance processes. Work across regions and departmentsto ensure accuracy and completeness of data.

  • Supportcorporate responsibility strategic initiatives across CR pillars

  • Otherresponsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Experience preparingcorporate ESG/sustainability/CR reports

  • Advancedknowledge of, and experience with, ESG/sustainability/CR reportingstandards, frameworks, and ratings & rankings such as Global ReportingInitiative (GRI), CDP, DJSI, Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB),etc

  • Experience calculatinga corporate carbon footprint, including Scopes 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas (GHG)emissions

  • Understandingof key ESG issues affecting businesses

  • Excellentcommunication and presentation skills, strong attention to detail

  • Ability tofoster and maintain collaborative relationships across departments andgeographies

  • Ability toproblem-solve and manage multiple priorities

  • Ability totravel domestically (up to 10%)

  • Bachelor’sdegree required, MBA or other master’s degree preferred

  • Minimum of 8years of business experience

  • Minimum of 2years of ESG/sustainability/CR reporting experience, preferably with aglobal, publicly traded company
