The English department at the University of Colorado Denver invites applications for a Tenure Track AssistantProfessor in Rhetoric and Composition. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in rhetoric and writing (the teaching load is 2/2), an active research agenda, and university and department service. The CU Denver English department offers an undergraduate major in Writing, Rhetoric, and Technology and an MA in English Studies. Applications in any area of rhetoric, composition, or writing studies are welcome.The department is especially interested in candidates specializing in cultural rhetorics, critical race theory, digital studies, and/or professional writing. Applicants must demonstrate the potential to maintain an active publication agenda and to develop an excellent teaching record.
