Application Analyst I - Revenue Cycle

Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist with analysis, design and creation of program specifications or logic.

  • Confirms technical requirements and assists with the development of technical specifications.

  • Assists with testing, and implementation of modifications and/or enhancements to computer systems, sub-systems to meet project objectives and department standards.

  • Develops customized reports and system extracts at a basic level as needed

  • Helps ensures compliance with scope statements, general and detailed statement of work. Scopes will include time estimates for assigned projects.

  • Assists with preparation of test data and tests systems and sub-systems

  • Assists with supporting and implementing changes to existing systems, procedures and hardware configurations.

  • Helps analyze, research, debug and modify or recommend modifications to current systems to keep them operating in an efficient and effective manner, conforming to existing department standards.

  • Assist in emergencies of production system problems.

  • Assists with maintenance and updates system documentation.

  • Assist with creation of interfaces utilizing reusable services.

  • Provide Level 2 support.

  • Assists with the development and performs test plans on interfaces.

  • Additional tasks/responsibilities as defined.

  • Will require some on-call coverage responsibilities.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 1-3 years experience in supporting financial applications. Healthcare / Revenue Cycle apps are preferred.

  • Knowledge of appropriate programming languages for various applications.
