As the Technology Strategy Leader you will be responsible for the planning, development, implementation and management of emerging technologies which are strategically aligned to aid and benefit the Design Organization within Ford Motor Company. Additional tasks include: coordinating projects within the studio to projects stay within timing budget, and quality metrics; anticipate technology trends; conduct R&D into new tools, technologies and processes; contribute to strategic planning initiatives; collaborate with appropriate teams within Ford and with vendors; consistently look for methods to improve existing technologies and platforms; track technologies and applications to ensure functionality and licensing are always in place.



As the Technology Strategy Leader your responsibilities will be but are not limited to...

  • Lead efforts for implementing new technologies (visualization efforts, VR/AR, AI/ML, etc) into the Design process.

  • Ensure Ford IT, security and business standards are addressed with all new technologies.

  • Test and verify future technologies will meet or exceed Design’s needs.

  • Apply program management skills to lead multiple projects.

  • Conduct R&D into new technologies, tools and workflows.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree

  • 4+ years work experience in project management Program management skills + experience leading projects and teams.

  • 5+ Experience with budgeting, forecasting and purchasing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Project, and other business tools.

  • Experience in VR/AR, visualization, 3D modeling.

  • Strong research skills.

  • Ability to quickly create a network of business partners.

  • Deep understanding in a variety of technologies and able to keep current on trends.
