Responsibilities:

As the Global CDC Cluster HMI Software Specialist your responsibilities will be but are not limited to...

  • Review Global CDC HMI requirements, models and auto generated code. Create the review reports for model and code.

  • Ensure that model and code is adhering to the requirements and guidelines and well as code quality

  • HMI Core lead for supplier software TDRs and adherence to Ford and industry standards

  • Provide regular technical/strategic/tactical input on HMI modeling platform, supplier eSOWs, and implementation plans.

  • Support development in house strategy/requirements, common data processing, analysis, and sign off.

  • Lead complex problems thru proper engineering disciplines (Fish Bone, 8D, etc…)

  • Know and understand the Ford Motor Company internal development processes and deliverables per GPDS.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree

  • 10+ Years’ cumulative experience in Automotive Infotainment, Instrument Cluster and Heads Up Display software architecture and development.

  • 4+ years of experience in HMI software development in the automotive.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior Infotainment/Multimedia System or Component Design Experience

  • Prior Hardware Interface design experience

  • Software and Model development background in TIER I industry as well as leading engineering service provider (ESP).

  • Strong software background in Automotive Infotainment, Instrument Cluster & Heads Up Display area.

  • Deep exposure to the NA and EU OEMs pioneering in Media Player, Radio, Telematics and Vehicle Networks.

  • Strong communication skills and Effective communication and Presentation skills required as well as the ability to work effectively in cross functional teams.
