Danbury Hospital Video Monitor/Patient Care Technician in Danbury, Connecticut
Required: High School Diploma and minimum of zero to six months job-related experience. Basic Life Support certification. CPR. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Data entry. Demonstrates understanding and proficiency of the use of the video monitoring system software. Excellent verbal communication skills (must speak and write English). Service Excellence Behaviors. BLS/CPR required within 90 days of start date or upon completion date of orientation process (before being released from orientation and functioning independently) whichever comes first. Provides continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients. Maintain patient safety utilizing a video monitoring system under the supervision of licensed professional staff. Works as a Patient Care Technician as assigned. Preferred: Previous experience in the acute care setting. Previous direct patient care experience. Bilingual. Nursing Assistant certification preferred. Student of Nursing or other Healthcare related field preferred. Hours: 8 control hours.
