Workday Financials Sr. Manager: As a Workday Financials Sr. Manager at Deloitte, you will join an organization that has a 15 year relationship with Workday leadership and 8 years as a Global Alliance Partner.

Sr Managers at Deloitte focuses on assisting those organizations that are responsible for the delivery, funding and payment management of health care and medical related services. Clients include hospitals, academic medical centers, health systems, home health agencies, long term care, outpatient facilities, ambulatory surgery centers, practitioners and physician groups as well as health plans, other health insurance companies, and pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs). Additionally, we will continue to drive integration with government agencies including Department of Defense/ Military Health, Veterans Affairs, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Centers for Disease Control, and the Office of the Secretary for Health and Human Services (Federal and State).

ERP SaaS : The ERP SaaS Offering focuses on implementing cloud-based ERP applications such as Workday Financials, Infor, and Zoura. This unique mix of technologies differentiate themselves from on-premise / cloud applications such as SAP and Oracle, and create inherent market competition, which will lead to significant growth for the practice. Our work mainly supports finance and supply chain transformations where the software is a true enabler of process change and cost reduction. However, our engagements are about more than implementing technology we work to generate sustainable business outcomes for our clients and practitioners have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from across Offering Portfolios and Offerings.

Health Care

Focuses on assisting those organizations that are responsible for the delivery, funding and payment management of health care and medical related services. Work you'll do

Senior Managers are expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways, including:

  • Engagement Management: Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk

  • Client Management: Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors

  • Business Development: Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies

  • Practice Development & Eminence: Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents; participate in public speaking events; get published in industry periodicals

  • People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices

Qualifications Required:

  • 12 years of relevant consulting or industry experience

  • 4 years experience leading and managing project teams

  • A minimum of 2 full life cycle Workday Financial implementation

  • Hands-on functional experience

  • Proficiency in multiple business processes:

  • Procure-to-Pay (PTP)

  • Order-to-Cash (OTC)

  • General Ledger (GL)

  • Fixed Asset Management (FA)

  • Budgeting

  • Cash Management

  • Grant Management

  • Chart of Accounts Re-Design

  • Purchase Order Conversions

  • Expense Management

  • Willingness for weekly client-based travel, up to 80-100% (Monday Thursday/Friday)

  • Bachelor s Degree or equivalent professional experience

Preferred:

  • Other leading Cloud based SaaS financial application implementation experience (ie: NetSuite, Fusion Intact, PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, Lawson)

  • An advanced degree in specialization

  • Deep functional knowledge around financial systems and processes

  • Proven skills as a team member, team lead or project manager on at least one full life cycle implementation

  • A proven resource in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines

  • Eagerness to mentor junior staff

  • Committed to gaining exposure to multiple industries

  • Adept at implementing technology-enabled business solutions for clients as part of a high-talent team.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)

  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment

  • Ability to collaborate with clients
