CACI International Software Developers - AGILE in Dahlgren, Virginia
CACI has an immediate and urgent need for Test-focused Software Developers to support a large-scale agile team responsible for the development of Nuclear Command and Control (NC2) decision support software for use by joint and combatant command staffs. The team being assembled is highly collaborative, cross-functional, and composed of personnel with various experience levels and skill sets, providing a unique opportunity to learn new skills with modern software development techniques and tools. The positions are located in Dahlgren, VA.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Although expected to perform multiple roles within the agile cross-functional scrum team, this Software Developer’s primary focus will be on testing. Duties will include embracing test-driven development (TDD), acquiring in-depth domain knowledge/understanding, contributing to the test suite through automated test case design/development, and test case execution/analysis.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Current DoD Secret Security Clearance
Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
Experience designing effective test cases and test data
Experience testing a distributed system that includes databases, application servers, and a web front end
Experience in object-oriented programming
Familiarity with agile software development processes and DevOps
Ability to understand and solve problems, and to work without daily direct supervision
Ability to communicate effectively, work in a dynamic team environment, and work directly with sponsor team including contractors
Ability to educate other team members on technical specialty
Willingness to try new things and grow
