CVS Health Financial Planning and Analysis Advisor Retail in Cumberland, Rhode Island

Job Description

Fortune 8 CVS Health has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Planning and Analysis Advisor Retail to join our dynamic team. In this role you will support CVS Health’s ability to achieve financial and strategic goals through effective support of the financial planning processes. Reporting to the Director of Retail FP&A, you will be responsible for the coordination and development of Retail Segment financial updates and presentations for Executive and Senior Leadership. You will analyze key components of Retail financial performance and collaborate with Retail FP&A colleagues to understand root cause of performance variances and to highlight plan risks and opportunities. Ultimately, you will be responsible for translating these findings into actionable insights in support of the Retail CFO and the Retail Leadership Team. In this position you will, but not be limited to, interact across all areas of FP&A while developing close working relationships to foster collaboration and the efficient and timely production of deliverables for Retail Senior Leadership and other Executive-level presentations.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with financial analysis and reporting

  • Knowledge of accounting and finance principles

  • Experience with and/or an understanding of budgeting and forecasting

  • Extensive knowledge of workstation software including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Analytical with an ability to think strategically and process new information quickly

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly gather, analyze and summarize data, while also translating analytic findings into financial highlights through simple visualizations and written observations

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Proven ability to perform well and with a high degree of accuracy under tight timelines

  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks without direct supervision

  • Desire to work in a large corporate setting

  • Self-starter and curious thinker


  • Bachelor Degree required

  • MBA preferred
