This position is responsible for operating machinery and maintaining production flow while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
This position is responsible to pull the required product from the Whip Cooler, pull the tree onto the scale and record the information on the tracking sheet for that specific product. Team Member is to record information by the hand-held scanner, which assigns the product to the production schedule. The Team Member will keep a daily physical inventory of the existing product in the chiller to facilitate the transition during shift change. Team Member will monitor that the product is run through the Sani-Matic and finally placed in the robot cases for processing. Team Member should inspect and monitor the quality of the product while staging the product. Team Member is responsible for safety concerns including but not limited to personal safety and food safety. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. This position involves working in a cold dry environment, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, standing and walking.
Applicant must have at least six months of continuous work history with same employer within the last twelve months to be considered for this position.
