The Automobile Club of Southern California is seeking career-minded individuals for our Dev Ops Engineer opportunity in Costa Mesa, CA.

Meet with internal customers to identify and document their business requirements utilizing Agile principles for development.

Provide day to day operational support and maintenance for ITSM tools platform including changes to application to achieve optimum performance levels.

Conduct unit testing and assist with the installation of new modules, releases and version upgrades.

Participates in on-call support for critical systems and available to work flexible hours as required by assigned projects or system problems.

Proactively develop and maintain technical knowledge in a specialized area, remaining up-to-date on current trends and best practices.

Complies with applicable laws, regulations, standards, policies and procedures.

5-8 years’ experience managing ITSM tools including development, configuration, integration, and implementation of business processes to improve productivity and functionality.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, related field, or equivalent education/work experience.

Deep understanding of IS systems and ITSM core configurations.

Hands on experience with implementations and/or migrations to the Remedy platform.

Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment. Proven track record of accurate task breakdown/estimation, unit testing, and delivering on time and in scope.

Expertise in Report and Dashboard development and automation. Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and planning skills. Customer engagement with strong personal skills to build and maintain collaborative relationships between business stakeholders and IT service owners.

Strong verbal and written communication skills required to all levels of end users, IS and Management staff.

Ability to work on a cross-functional team to design and implement scalable and sustainable systems.
