Responsibilities Req ID: 50140 Provide direct patient care, as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN), in a safe and timely manner Assists patients with bathing, feeding and hygiene needs Assists patients with toileting needs Gathers patient data and documents accurately in the medical record Promptly notifies the RN of abnormal data or changes in patient condition Communicates with members of the care team Transports patients using wheelchair or cart Assists patients to walk or transfer Reposition patients for comfort and care needsUtilizes safe patient moving equipment Provide for a clean patient care environment Promote a safety culture Participates in organizational work/initiatives Communicates respectfully Stewardship Customer service/patient advocacy Education High School graduate or GED Current BLS required upon hire One year previous Nursing Assistant experience, OR current RN nursing student currently in clinicals OR successful completion of a nursing assistant course and registration in NA registry required.
