Endoscopy procedure disposables include single-use valves and irrigation tubing. Medical device reprocessing systems, disinfectants, detergents and other supplies are used to disinfect high-level endoscopes. This segment is operated through MEDIVATORS.

Life Sciences

Water purification systems for dialysis facilities, including hemodialysis dialyzer and reprocessing systems, as well as sterilants and filtration products. This segment is operated through Mar Cor Purification, Inc. and MEDIVATORS.

Dental

Single-use, infection prevention products used primarily in the dental market including face masks, sterilization pouches, towels and bibs, tray covers, saliva ejectors, germicidal wipes, plastic cups and disinfectants. This segment is operated through Crosstex International, Inc.

Assembler I Team Member is responsible for the efficient operation of the work cell and ensuring that the Key Performance Indicators are achieved. Each team member is responsible for his/her individual skills development by completing the required training, core competencies and proficiency requirements for their current position and proactively working on the aforementioned skill development elements for the Level II Team Member requirements.

Must be able to assemble parts for an 8 hour period and achieve production goals

Must be able to lift 40lbs

Must be a proactive team member

Able to do repetitive assembly operations in a manufacturing environment

Able to do repetitive packaging operations in a manufacturing environment

Must be able to pay attention to detail and follow written instructions

Must have good communication skills when working with others

Must have good attendance

Must be able to read and understand all SOP's pertaining to their department

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English and perform basic math functions as necessary

Core Competency Certification (refer to matrix) – The Core Competency Development Matrix defines the skills and capabilities that will be required for the discrete levels within the assigned cell team. The list of Core Competencies will be required for Level I include:

  • Station Efficiency Certification - demonstrate the ability to achieve standard production rates

  • PPE Requirements – demonstrate the ability to identify required Personal Protective Equipment and proper use

  • Ergonomic Awareness - demonstrate the ability to identify the Ergonomic Equipment required and proper use

  • Standard Work Understanding – demonstrate the ability to understand and apply the standard work

  • Quality Standards – complete regulatory training requirements and demonstrate standards compliance

  • True North Review – actively participate in & complete the True North Strategy review (Getting the Right Things Done)

  • Team Assimilation - actively participate in & complete the Team Assimilation training session

  • Team Communications - actively participate in & complete the Team Communications training session

  • Level II Development - in order to support the needs of the team and professional growth, the Level I team member will be encouraged to actively pursue the Core Competencies required for Level II.

Team Training Certification (refer to matrix) - The Training Development Matrix defines the learned skills required to complete the discrete training levels within the assigned cell team. The list of Training Certifications that will be required for Level I include:

  • Kaizen Team Training - actively participate in & complete the Kaizen Team Member Training session

  • 7-Step Problem Solving – actively participate in & complete the 7-Step Problem Solving Training Session

  • OSHA Safety Training – actively participate in & complete the OSHA Basic Safety Training Session

  • 6-S Training - actively participate in & complete the 6-S training session

  • Behavioral Expectations/Ethics – actively participate in & complete the Conflict Management training session

  • High Performance Teams – actively participate in & complete the High Performance Team training session

  • House of Quality – actively participate in & complete the House of Quality training session

  • Lock-out/Tag-out Awareness - actively participate in & complete the Lock-out/Tag-out Awareness training session

  • Level II Development - in order to support the needs of the team and professional growth, the Level I team member will be encouraged to actively pursue the Training Certifications required for Level II.

Proficiency Certification (refer to matrix) - The Training Development Matrix defines the learned skills required to complete the discrete training levels within the assigned cell team. The list of Training Certifications that will be required for Level I include:

  • Participate in a Kaizen Team Event - actively participate in successful Kaizen Team event

  • Support a 7-Step Problem Solving – actively participate in a successful 7-Step Problem event

  • Represent the Cell in a successful 6-S Line Audit – inspect, prepare and represent the cell in a successful 6-S line audit

  • Level II Development - in order to support the needs of the team and professional growth, the Level I team member will be encouraged to actively pursue the Proficiency/Certifications required for Level II.
