Presents resultsof the review to program managers to assist in implementing and continuing programs.Designs and implements internal policies and regulations for all components of DCYF and assignedbusiness entities to ensure accuracy of fiscal reporting, enhance fiscal control over agency spendingin all sources of funding (federal funds, local funds, general funds, etc.) and to ensure existingpolicies conform to Administrative Rules.Participates in planning and preparation of agency budget and annual closing of financial accounts.Maintains an up to date knowledge of Administrative Rules relating to all business and administrativefunctions such as budgetary, purchasing, and federal regulations and communicates these rules tounit supervisors to ensure compliance and accurate operating procedures division wide.Coordinates financial reporting for all bureaus and institutions of the assigned Division to ensureuniform and timely reporting of the Divisions operations to the Division Director and FinanceAdministrators.Provides supervision to employees performing accounting functions such as expenditure tracking,review of detail transactions, monthly report preparation, and accounts receivableTransfers Federal cash to satisfy Federal revenues throughout the Divisions budget.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education:Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university with major study in accountingor business administration. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted forone year of required work experience.Experience:Three years' experience in accounting or auditing work, one year of which must havebeen in a supervisory capacity.
