T. Marzetti Company National Account Sales Manager in Columbus, Ohio
Develops and manages business related to assigned national restaurant chain accounts to meet assigned goals. Develops new business within existing accounts as well as new chain accounts.
Develop sales plans and strategies to meet assigned sales and distribution goals; establish sales objectives for each national chain account.
Resolve national account sales issues with purchasing, operations, QA, customer service and R&D.
Conduct regular on-site sales presentations, product samplings and business reviews with customers;
Prepare and present at least one annual major account review with each assigned national account.
Organize and conduct ideation sessions with R&D and national account customers to identify potential new products.
Ensure all company-required paperwork, including Stage Gate, itineraries, expense reports, market worksheets and follow-up market letters are completed in a timely, accurate manner.
Provide product training and orientation for customers.
Introduce new items to customers; recommend ways to sell product for maximum sales exposure/customer satisfaction.
Plan, execute and evaluate of all major promotions on all brands for each national account.
BA/BS degree in marketing or related field preferred.
4-5 years prior experience in foodservice sales/marketing; national chain account sales experience required.
Position located at the Corporate Office (Columbus, OH)
Works in corporate environment where the employee is regularly required to speak, see, hear, sit, stand, talk, type, walk and bend while moving about the facility. The noise level in this environment is quiet. Regular travel to each assigned national chain account is required.
