PDS Tech Inc Electronics Assemblers in Columbus, Ohio

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking Electronics Assemblers in Columbus, OH.

In this role, you will be fabricating electronic test and measurement sensors used in a variety of industries.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform fabrication work of the element in a cell based manufacturing environment.

  • Perform detailed tasks under a microscope to meet critical specifications.

  • Perform chemical mixing and ensure that the mixing ratios are meeting defined requirements

  • Meet or exceed production targets and ensure products are manufactured at the right quality and production rates

  • Periodically carry out visual and functional test of incoming raw materials according to defined intervals

  • Minimize all types of waste and maintain high yield rates at respective process steps

  • Maintain 5S throughout the assigned work area

  • Complete the assigned tasks in a safe manner and in compliance with all safety requirements

  • Serve as point of escalation for less experienced team members. May be responsible for training new hires on specific assembly processes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum 1 year Electronics Assembly Experience

  • Minimum 1 year Soldering Experience

  • Must wear safety glasses and steel toe shoes at all times on the production floor.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Able to multitask

  • Fast and flexible in adapting to changes

  • Sharp and focused in making critical product and technical quality judgments

  • Able to manipulate small wires/objects under a microscope using precision hand tools.

  • Ability to work overtime and Saturdays as requested

  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds

  • Experience in interpreting detailed assembly drawings and completing complex assembly processes.

  • Read, communicate, and write fluently in English

  • Use small hand tools and work with small parts
