POSITION TITLE: Associate, Alumni Services & Retention

LOCATION: Columbus, Ohio

REPORTS TO: Director, Business Solutions


As the Associate, Alumni Services & Retention you will be primarily responsible for employment verification and reporting. You will also assist with the coordination of alumni services, and reporting on employment and service outcomes.


  • Manage the employment retention verification process, including various forms of outreach to alumni; use data to drive tactical decisions on improvements

  • Enter data in real-time on all placed students

  • Assist in reporting on employment and service outcomes

  • Assist in coordination of special projects and events for alumni

  • Make appropriate referrals for students that require assistance with job placement

  • Manage special projects for program department as needed

  • Respond to inquiries from alumni within 24 hours

  • Assist in maintaining student records

  • Provide telephone and office administrative support

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by manager


  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent practical experience)

  • Strong technical aptitude (Google Sheets/Excel, Slides/PowerPoint,, Salesforce etc), project management, and organizational skills with detailed follow-through abilities.

  • Excellent written communication, presentation, and customer service skills.

  • Solid understanding of business needs and how to source talent to meet those needs.

  • Strong data management skills.

  • Experience with social media marketing a plus.

  • Prior knowledge or background in IT (if minimal, a desire and willingness to learn what?s needed) and a passion for technology is a plus.
