This instructor position will teach graduate and undergraduate courses and labs including but not limited to: Logic Circuits, Microcomputer/Microprocessor Systems, Computer Architecture, Digital Design, and Circuits and Systems. The course load for an instructor/senior instructor is up to 30 credit hours (10 courses of 3 credit hours each) per academic year, but can be lowered if the instructor participates in other activities. The typical instructor workload is 80% teaching and 20% service (8 courses/24 credit hours per academic year).
Other activities may include:
Curriculum development including the development of new courses.
Guiding undergraduate students in independent studies
Developing and teaching distance courses
Advising undergraduate majors
Participating in departmental committees and meetings
Other as assigned by the Chair
The 9-month salary range for this position is $58,000-62,000

MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
An earned Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or closely related field;
At least one year of teaching experience at the college level
