Latitude, Inc. Business Development Manager in Cocoa, Florida

The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges to increase revenue by identifying, qualifying, developing the winning strategy and capturing large (generally over $1M) simulation display programs utilizing projection systems in both dome and multi-faceted configurations and video walls using LCD?s and direct view LED for control rooms, conference centers, etc. He/she will use tools such as Fed Biz Ops search services, as well as meetings with other Business Development personnel at major prime contractors, government sponsored Industry Days, and meetings with government employees and defense contractors to identify upcoming large program opportunities in the simulation arena and control rooms. Upon identifying these opportunities they will then be qualified and presented to Management for bid no-bid decisions and development of win strategies. This person will then lead management and the cognizant team to partner with the correct prime contractor(s), address the RFP response, and work to capture the business. The Business Development person will develop new business opportunities by examining all levels of the client?s organization to gain a complete understanding of their needs, applications, and funding.


? Design an action plan to achieve sales goals and objectives in the Simulation and Control area

? Support trade shows as needed

? Make sales presentations to key customers and prime contractors that create a demand for company?s products

? Submit regular expense reports, timesheets, and record activity, contacts, opportunities and forecasts on the CRM system

? Effectively prepare and execute all business development calls

? Regularly attend and actively participate in sales meetings as required

? Provide timely and accurate feedback to the President on trends, marketing and competitive information as well as business conditions and opportunities


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business

  • 3+ years' of sales or account management experience in the simulation and/or control room market

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
