Project Manager

We are seeking high-energy, customer-focused team members to join the Cardinal Health team and lead the industry optimizing supply chain, inventory management and clinical workflow practices while directly supporting a healthcare industry leader in the Cleveland, Ohio area.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Leads/manages medium to large size projects, leveraging basic project management tools to deliver results.
  • Manages all aspects of moderately complex projects.
  • Participates in the development of goals, objectives, plans, policies, and procedures for completion of a highly visible, complex project in a healthcare setting in Cleveland, Ohio area.
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills. Proactively communicate with customers, project teams and leadership.
  • Use of developed project plan that details each phase/task of the project. Includes clear milestones and assignment of project task responsibilities. Project manager is accountable for the oversight of project at assigned hospital
  • Provides daily direction to assigned implementation managers
  • Coordinates activities of responsible customer and internal personnel to ensure project remains on schedule.
  • Proactively identify risks to project goals and resolves problems. Escalates and communicates issues.
  • Prepares and completes action plans Implements production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
  • Leads weekly project calls, communicating progress to internal stakeholders.
  • Post go-live, project manager spends 30-60 days continued support on site

  • Oversight of implementation managers

  • Environment of care activities
  • Creates voice of the customer & lessons learned session/documentation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • Healthcare project management experience. Experience managing complex system implementations in supply chain, interface and system integration preferred
  • 6 years experience inProject Managementpreferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of project governance and project management methodologies
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced, demanding environment with changing priorities
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with appropriate sense of urgency and proactive approach
  • Detail oriented with the capability to think strategically
  • High level of enthusiasm/energy coupled with the ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products(including MS Project)preferred
