What will you be doing?
Under limited supervision, support all aspects of Repair Center and Field Services talent acquisition and employee orientation functions including posting jobs, sourcing candidates, conducting phone screens, and assisting with the onboarding process.
This position will interact with all employees including Field Services and Repair Center staff; corporate HR, safety, quality, and payroll departments; and potential candidates. The impact of this position on the business is very important as it plays a key role in acquiring, developing and retaining talent. Participates in ensuring functional HR excellence. The decisions made by the person filling this position must be clear, consistent and unbiased. The exercise of independent judgment is crucially important.
What are your key activities?
Manage the hiring process by creating job postings, reviewing resumes and applications, performing telephone interviews, and monitoring background check and other screening activities.
Recommend and use a variety of recruitment methods to attract highly qualified and culturally fit candidates.
In consultation with Sr. HR Manager, prepare offer letters and make offers of employment
Utilize and maintain Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Partner with hiring managers to recruit qualified applicants by developing and cultivating local sources for applicants.
Initiate recruitment and selection by analyzing current processes and trends and recommend improvements to obtain greater efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with university and community college placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants.
Manage employee referral program for Repair Center and Field Services new hires.
Ensure all job descriptions are current.
Conduct new hire orientation.
Human Resources Administration
Manage the separation process including conducting exit interviews to determine the underlying reasons for termination of employment, tracking of signed release agreements, ensure communication of final pay/final work data to other HR/Operations functions.
Partnering with Sr. HR Manager and Operations functions, manage new hire, random and reasonable suspicion drug screen processes.
Manage and track completion of new hire performance reviews.
Works with Sr. HR Manager, leave coordinator and managers to manage and track all leaves of absence.
Manage holiday check process.
Assist Sr. HR Manager of Field Operations in implementing field-wide projects including, but not limited to, Leadership 101.
What is required of you?
Bachelor’s in Business Administration/Organizational Behavior/ Human Resources, or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
A minimum of 2 years Human Resource experience, including in talent acquisition and onboarding.
Computer literate in a variety of applications, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of PeopleSoft a plus.
SPHR or PHR a plus.
