MarketSource, Inc. is currently seeking a Motorcraft Territory Sales Manager (MTSM) to represent our client, Ford Motor Company. This position will be responsible for growing sales and market share of Motorcraft parts in an assigned territory to targeted levels. The MTS will work closely with the Ford Regional Field teams as well as wholesaling Ford/Lincoln Dealerships and Motorcraft Distributors to meet and exceed goals.

This position requires an ability to build and maintain relationships, utilizing consultative sales skills to deliver results.


  • Conduct field visits to IRF’s/Installers in order to sell Motorcraft Parts

  • Cultivate and maintain solid relationships with IRF’s/Installers, local Ford Dealers and Ford Authorized Distributors(WD’s)

  • Educate current and potential customers on the benefits of using Motorcraft and Genuine Ford pars for maintenance and repair of all Ford and Lincoln vehicles

  • Drive incremental Motorcraft parts sales to IRF’s in assigned territory utilizing Dealers and WD’s

  • Facilitate long term relationships between IRF’s and Dealers/WD’s

  • Incorporate existing web based resources, marketing and inventive programs into IRF sales contacts

  • Utilize WCKS current IRF account history to plan effective IRF visits and maximize opportunity

  • Ensure sales, market and competitive information is recorded in daily

  • Ability to handle work pressures, meet multiple deadlines and handle multiple priorities

  • Proactively identifies issues or trends and prepares recommendations, reacts quickly and appropriately to issues; follows-up in a timely manner to issues not immediately resolvable; ties all loose ends; uses knowledge and relationships to influence decisions

  • Constantly evaluates performance versus expectations

  • Demonstrates responsible, ethical and honest behavior in all roles, tasks and responsibilities. Is consistent and fair when dealing with others; keeps commitments

  • Self-motivated to accomplish important objectives and sales goals, despite a complex environment and multiple demands; acts with a sense of urgency and takes responsibility

  • Achieve and maintain SME status on Motorcraft parts features, benefits and differentiators

  • Maintain awareness of competitors in market; research to develop Motorcraft value differentiators

  • Agnostic regarding Dealers and WD’s in market.

  • Acts in accordance with the code of conduct, and confidentiality; holds seld to high standards established by Ford Motor Company

  • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the Ford Motor Company business and how his/her actions affect the business; uses this knowledge to make effective business decisions; knows the competition and the industry; foresees future challenges and takes actions to address them


  • BS/BA Degree, preferably in business administration or marketing, or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 4 + years of demonstrated, successful experience selling aftermarket parts to IRF’s/Installers

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience with routine cold calling of potential customers to develop business and conquest new IRF’s/Installers

  • Moderate technical knowledge of automotive operations systems required

  • Clear understanding of wholesale parts sales in relation to IRF’s/Installers

  • ASE Certification a plus

  • Self-starter with an ability to work independently

  • Demonstrated successful relationship building and influencing skills

  • Excellent written, oral and presentations skills

  • Proficient MS Office (PowerPoint/Excel/Word
