DeVry Education Group Digital Analytics Implementation Specialist in Chicago, Illinois
Additionally, in this role, working with the Digital Analytics team you will use data and insights to help build and implement long and short-term marketing strategies in order to meet organizational objectives. This includes finding opportunities for the website testing roadmap and the development and execution of digital analytics plans that competitively position the organization.
Ultimately, in this role you will help drive the organization's usage of web data, digital analytics and insights to drive the overall digital customer experience.
Engages in initiatives focused on development and implementation of code and tools that enable our global digital marketing measurement infrastructure.
Develops, maintains, and configures tag management systems to support web measurement and 3rd party advertising solutions.
Works closely with UX, Digital Media and Analytics leads to execute a Digital Analytics product road map.
Provides Digital Analytics infrastructure and process gap analysis and recommendations.
Stays current with trends in Digital Analytics technology.
Recommends new processes to improve effectiveness and efficiency of data reporting and automation.
Ensures institutional knowledge through the development and maintenance of technical documentation for systems and processes implemented.
Analyze web analytics data to identify gaps and opportunities to improve the overall user experience and meet lead generation and transactional ecommerce goals.
Monitor weekly performance metrics to understand organic search performance/opportunities across our web properties.
Has a solid understanding of data QA and validation processes.
Completes other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Economic or related course of study required or equivalent work experience.
2+ years front-end web or analytics development experience
2+ years’ experience with Google Analytics
1+ year developing tag management solutions (Google Tag Manager preferred).
Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills
CSS and HTML proficient.
Strong tag management skills (experience with tools like Charles, Fiddler, etc)
Experience with SQL-based queries and Big Query preferred.
Machine learning and data warehousing experience preferred.
Experience with A/B testing methods and tools (Optimizely, Adobe Target, Maxymiser, etc.)

Good communications skills – must be able to explain relatively complex analyses in ways that are understandable and actionable to marketing stakeholders.
Must also be able to clearly articulate both strategic direction, and tactical actions to Professional/Management Levels, IT team, and marketing stakeholders.
Detail oriented with excellent analytical ability.
Must be able to clearly work with marketing program owners to determine business needs and requirements and then translate that into research and reporting requirements for internal teams and external vendors.
Ability to work independently and set priorities based on high level direction of UX, Digital media and Analytics leads.
