Duties and Responsibilities

The Department of Management, Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty appointment starting in Fall semester, 2020. Areas of focus for this position include Management, Human Resource Management, Business Ethics, Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management and International Business, or Organization Behavior/Theory. Multiple positions may be available, subject to funding. This is a full-time position, and the appointment may be made at the Assistant or Associate level depending on qualifications. Quinlan School of Business is comprised of approximately 2,160 undergraduate and 475 graduate students in the MBA and 6 Master of Science programs. Quinlan also supports an undergraduate Honors program. Students enjoy support from career services, internships, and mentoring opportunities, and they may join numerous on campus organizations in global/international business, human resources, and business ethics. Professional events are scheduled each semester with Chicago companies located just steps away from our beautiful Water Tower Campus.

Applicants must possess a PhD in Management, Human Resource Management, Business Ethics, Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management and International Business, or Organization Behavior/Theory, from an AACSB accredited institution. Required qualifications include published research in high level journals, teaching excellence, and a strong commitment to service and the profession.

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience

Applicants must possess a Doctorate in Management, or related degree for one of the focus areas (Management, Human Resource Management, Business Ethics, Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management and International Business, or Organization Behavior/Theory), from an AACSB accredited institution.
